The enormous old Sears on Ponce de Leon has been under renovation and planning for years.

It seems to be a soft opening, but Monday the gates were opened to all… at Atlanta’s newest main attraction, Ponce City Market.  Patterned after Manhattan’s Chelsea Market, PCM is expected to amaze.

You can shop at Binders Art Supplies, take classes at General Assembly and drop your kids at Suzuki School in addition to grabbing your daily cup of coffee from Dancing Goats.  Because they’re all open (or opening in the next three weeks)!

They are still working, polishing, and have many tenants left to open, but go check it out!

Binders is open and the grand opening ceremony is in 3 weeks! General Assembly will be starting classes in September. The Suzuki School preschool starts for the younglings after Labor Day.   On September 22, food trucks will start bringing gourmet lunch to the foodies and hungry every day.

But many top restaurants and the Central Food Hall will not open its doors to the public until next spring.
